Piaggio Porter 700 is the upgraded version of the company’s Porter 600 LCV. 700 in the name denotes the payload capacity of the vehicle which is 700 kgs. Porter 700 looks almost similar to its sibling Porter 600 but is bigger than its predecessor. It has a wheelbase of 1820mm which is 170mm longer than that of the Porter 600. Powering the LCV is a single-cylinder BS-IV engine with displacement of 625cc that churns out 14.75bhp @ 3200rpm of maximum power and 40Nm @ 1600-1800rpm of peak torque output offering best-in-class fuel efficiency of 26kmpl. The engine gets mated to a 5-speed Manual gearbox. Porter 700 gets an ergonomically designed seats and steering wheel and comes with single cab layout accommodating two members (Driver Plus 1). The highlight feature of the LCV is that it is the only vehicle of Piaggio to come with twin headlamps which helps in safer night driving. The Porter 700 comes with a warranty of 2 years/75,000 kilometres and is toughly competing against the likes of Mahindra Jeeto and Tata Ace.
