Tractors Subsidy in Nagaland

Farm Mechanization and Technology

1) Procure appropriate machinery/equipment as per land holding size and crop.
2) Machinery and equipment can be used by Custom Hiring/sharing by groups of farmers.
3) Conserve Resources - Use Zero till Seed Drill, Laser Leveler, Happy Seed Drill Rotovator etc.
4) Training is provided on proper use of Farm Machinery and its routine maintenance and servicing through Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute, KVKs and State Agricultural Universities

Pattern of Assistance under Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization

Scheme 1

Type - Tractors (08 to 20 PTO HP)
Subsidy for SC, ST, Small and Marginal Farmers - Rs.1.00 lakh
Pattern of Assistance - 35%
Subsidy for other beneficiaries - Rs.0.75 lakh
Pattern of Assistance - 25%

Scheme 2

Type - Tractors (Above 20 to 70 PTO HP)
Subsidy for SC, ST, Small and Marginal Farmers - Rs.1.25 lakh
Pattern of Assistance - 35%
Subsidy for other beneficiaries - Rs.1.00 lakh
Pattern of Assistance - 25%

Scheme 3

Type - Power Tiller (Below 8 BHP)
Subsidy for SC, ST, Small and Marginal Farmers - Rs.0.50 lakh
Pattern of Assistance - 50%
Subsidy for other beneficiaries - Rs.0.40 lakh
Pattern of Assistance - 40%

Scheme 4

Type - Power Tiller (8 BHP and Above)
Subsidy for SC, ST, Small and Marginal Farmers - Rs.0.75 lakh
Pattern of Assistance - 50%
Subsidy for other beneficiaries - Rs.0.60 lakh
Pattern of Assistance - 40%

Scheme 5

Type - Machinery and Tools
Pattern of Assistance - Assistance upto 50% of the cost and upto the amount for equipment/tools as provided under to State Department of Agriculture.
