About LML

Lohia Machines Private Limited started its operation with the manufacture of synthetic yarn,in 1972,France.Six years later,it became a public limited company and diversified into processing synthetic yarn.It was in 1984,the way for scooter lineup was paved out through the means of a technical collaboration agreement that was signed with the great Italian pioneer in the scooter manufacturer Piaggio.This bond was redefined to that of a partner in 1990,both partners having equal equity participation of 23.6% each.With the launch of LML Select,which became a grand success,the LML's joint venture with Piaggio ended up,after which LML narrowed down its vision in manufacturing the Star.Increase in sales distribution lead the company to have an agreement with the Daelim Motor Company of South Korea to manufacture four-stroke motorcycles.The year 2000 set to be a turning point for the company in making itself recognized by the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology for remarkable success in introducing new models of scooters in the market with the more fuel-economy,new electrical system,latest emission norms,upgraded technology,better styling etc.
