Vehicle Transfer in Uttaranchal

For the Transfer of the Ownership of Motor vehicle:

The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form 29 and 30
2. Registration certificate
3.Insurance certificate
4.N.O.C. of the vehicle, if registered outside Uttaranchal
5.Fees as specified in Rule-81
6. Passport size photograph of Purchaser and Seller
7. Tax clearance certificate

Transfer of ownership in case of death:

The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.
1. Form 31
2. Death certificate in relation to the registered owner
3.Certificate of the registration and the insurance
4.Proof of succession
5.Passport size photograph

For the Transfer of the Ownership of Motor vehicle:

For change of Address in RC:

The application has to be submitted along with the following documents.

1. Form 33
2. Insurance certificate
3.Registration certificate
4.Pollution Under Control certificate
5.Fees payment receipt
6. Proof of address

Prescribed Fees:

The prescribed fees for various Certificates issued by the department are listed below. (revised vide Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Notification dated May, 31, 2002)

Trade certificate ( Motorcycle ) - 50.00 each
Trade certificate ( Invalid carriage ) - 50.00 each
Renewal of trade certificate ( motorcycle / invalid carriage ) - 50.00 each
Others - 200.00 each
