Transfer Of Ownership :-
For transfer of the ownership of Motor vehicle, the following documents are required:- 1) Form 29 and 30 2) Registration certificate 3) Insurance Certificate 4) N.O.C. of the vehicle, if registered out side H.P 5) Fees as specified Rule 81 of CMVR,1989 6) Passport size photograph of Purchaser seller 7) Tax clearance certificate. Transfer of ownership in case of death one has to apply with following documents. 1) Form 31 2) Death certificate in relation to the registered owner 3) Certificate of the registration and the insurance 4) Proof of succession 5) Passport size photo For vehicle purchased in public auction, one has to apply with the following documents:- 1) Form 32 2) Certificate of Registration and Insurance. 3) Certificate of order confirming the sale of vehicle in his favour by the person authorized to conduct the auction. 4) Certified copy of the order of the Government authorizing the auction of the vehicle. 5) Fees specified in Rule 81 of CMVR,1989 6) Passport size photo of purchaser.Change of Address
The application has to be submitted along with the following documents: 1) CMV Form 33 2) Registration certificate 3) Insurance certificate 4) Pollution Under Control Certificate 5) Prescribed fee as per Rule 81 of CMVR 6) Proof of addressNo objection certificate
1. An application for the issue of no objection in respect of a motor vehicle shall be made in Form 28 to the registering authority by which the vehicle was previously registered, accompanied by:- the certified copy of the certificate of registration; the certified copy of the certificate of insurance; evidence of payment of motor vehicle tax up-to-date; where no tax is payable for a certain period a certificate from the tax collecting authority that no tax is due from the vehicle for the said period. 2. In the case of a transport vehicle, in addition to the documents referred above documentary evidence in respect of the following matters shall also be furnished, namely:- that the vehicle is not covered by any permit issued by any transport authority; that the sum of money agreed upon to be paid by the holder of the permit under sub-sections (5) and (6) of section 86, if any, is not pending recovery; evidence of payment of tax on passengers and goods under any la w for the time being in force upto the date of application for no objection certificate.Assignment of New Registration Mark on Removal of Vehicle to Another State
Section 47 of M.V. Act 1988 provides for assignment of new registration mark on removal of vehicle to another. The application for assignment of new registration mark to a motor vehicle shall be made in Form 27 of CMV.Time of 12 months is provided for re-assignment of a vehicle under Section 47 of M.V. The vehicle owner shall produce the following 1) No Objection Certificate (NOC) in CMV FORM 28 or postal acknowledgement for having sent application for issue of no objection certificate to the concerned registering authority. 2) Application form CMV FORM 27. 3) Registration certificate (RC Book), Tax Card. 4) Insurance certificate. 5) Consent of the Financier 6) Pollution Under Control Certificate. 7) Prescribed fees and difference of tax if any. 8) All the related applications shall be filed before the Registering Authority and Vehicle shall be produced for inspection in the premises of the R.T.O. /S.D.M. in case it is not inspected earlierLetter Format for Vehicle Transfer in Himachal Pradesh
