Yamaha R25, an entry level sport bike has been unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Yamaha R25 is expected to be priced in a range of Rs.2,00,000-2,50,000 respectively. The new vehicle will be well equipped with an innovative chassis and lot of thrilling features. The company claims that the new vehicle would be offered as Yamaha’s “top performance sport bike”.
The Yamaha R25 is built on a lightweight and compact chassis along with design inferences and it would be the ideal choice for everyday ride. It has borrowed most of its features and style from Yamaha’s M1 MotoGP machine and it would be a tough competitor to its similar other bikes such as RC390, Ninja 300 and Daytona 250. The new bike looks very stylish with an attractive twin headlamps and the LED tail lamps offering better vision for the riders while riding at night time.
The Yamaha R25 comes with an excellent external dimension in terms of its length, width and height represented below.

The Yamaha R25 is powered by a 250cc, 4 stroke, parallel twin, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine generating the maximum power output of 40 to 45 BHP. The powerful engine of the bike is mated to the six speed gearbox for smooth ride. The new motorcycle gets a self start type which is easy for the rider to start the vehicle.
The Yamaha R25 will be fitted with a disc brake at both front and rear wheels with an alloy wheel. The disc braking system helps to halt the vehicle immediately even at high level of speed. On the other hand, the front suspension of the bike will come with the telescopic fork while the rear suspension will be of monoshock type which is quite simple to handle the vehicle.
