The leading manufacturer Yamaha is in the plan to unveil its new super bike christened as MT-125 by the mid 2015. The Yamaha MT-125 price will be little expensive compared to its previous MT series bikes which is expected approximately Rs.1,50,000. The vehicle has been designed on the basis of R125 which is quite good. It is believed that it would give a tough competition to its similar other bikes.

Yamaha MT-125 Engine
The new Yamaha MT-125 engine will be really powerful housed with a 124.7cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke SOHC mated to the six speed manual gear transmission. The engine of MT-125 will deliver the maximum power output of 14.8 BHP at 9000 RPM in coupling with the maximum torque output of 12.4 NM at 8000 RPM respectively. The vehicle will be fitted with a wet, multiple disc coil spring clutch and delta box chassis which is quite good.
Design and Style
Yamaha MT-125 looks really very stylish compared to its previous bike and it comes from the MT family DNA offering the bike a serious full size bike look in all aspects. The bike has a bright headlamp which gives better vision while riding at night time. The MT-125 sports a different fuel tank, seat, handlebar and foot pegs. It will have an electric starter system which makes easy to start the vehicle. The new vehicle will be provided with a sporty and comfortable upright riding position assuring everyday unlimited fun. The MT-125 has been designed with a high tech LED instrument panel which will be very easy for the rider while travelling at night time. The bike will have an alloy wheel option with tubeless tyres for better road gripness while travelling at a higher level of speed.
Brakes and Suspensions
Brakes and Suspension plays an important role in terms of safety for a vehicle. Both front and rear brakes of the new Yamaha MT-125 will be fitted with a hydraulic single disc but the diameter may vary. The front disc brakes measures 292 mm where as the rear disc brakes measures nearly 230 mm which is quite good. On the other hand, the front suspension of the vehicle will have an upside down telescopic fork of about 41 mm while the rear suspension will be offered with a linked mono shock with spring preload adjustment. The front wheel comes with a size of 100/80-17 M/C whereas the rear wheel comes with a size of 130/70-17 M/C offering excellent road performance. All these features of the vehicle ensure better safety and security to both rider and pillion.
