Yamaha Fazer 250cc Review

The stunning two wheeler manufacturer Yamaha is going to launch its new Fazer series bike known as Fazer 250cc which is expected to be priced around Rs.1.25 lakh. The Fazer 250cc will be available in various peppy color shades such as Lava Red, Midnight Black, Flaming Orange and Electric Blue.

The Yamaha Fazer 250cc looks really trendy and more stylish compared to its previous bikes. The front fascia of the bike offers an aggressive appearance with its bright head lamp with an rear view mirror. The bore and stroke of the bike is found to be 74 mm and 58 mm. It is fitted with a small visor which is connected to the head lamp enhancing the style of the bike.

The motorcycle will have a digital console Liquid Crystal Display speedometer and tachometer with carbon pattern enabling the rider to be very updated with the bike’s information in just a glance. The fuel tank of the Fazer is wide and larger with the fuel tank capacity of 16 liters.

The seating arrangement of the bike is also appreciable with a raised type seat and the rear is very sharp pointed. The side profile of the bike is decorated with a small silencer which is quite good. The Fazer 250cc is well incorporated with the light weight black alloy wheels for better road performance of the bike. The bike is expected to provide the larger wheelbase of around 1370 mm.

The Yamaha Fazer 250cc will be powered by a 4 stroke, 2 Valve, Air Cooled, SOHC, electric ignition engine producing the displacement of around 249cc. The engine can develop the maximum power output of 21 bhp @ 7500 rpm in combination with the maximum torque output of 20.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm mated to the five speed gearbox for smooth and easy gear shifts. The powerful engine is expected to deliver the fuel efficiency of around 25 kmpl with the fuel tank capacity of 16 liter which is quite good.

The braking and suspension mechanism must be good for a vehicle for better safety and security. Both front and rear wheels are fitted with disc brake enhancing the braking efficiency. The front brake of the bike will be 260 mm and rear brake will be 130 mm.

Likewise, the Yamaha Fazer 250cc will have a telescopic front suspension and monolink/monoshock rear suspension for simple and easy handling of the bike.
