TVS Motors plans to launch its new sportive bike named as Apache 250cc which is well known for its powerful engine with strong performance. The new bike will give a toughest competition to its similar to the bike Honda CBR250R. The new Apache 250cc is expected to be priced around Rs.1,10,000 and it may be available in various attractive colors.
The dimensions of TVS Apache 250cc in terms of its length, width and height are represented below.
1) Length – 2085 mm
2) Width – 730 mm
3) Height – 1100 mm
Along with that, the new bike provides the wheelbase of around 1326 mm and the fuel tank capacity of the bike is 16 liters approximately. The kerb weight of the bike is found to be 140 kg and the ground clearance is 180 mm.
The TVS Apache series bikes are a boon to the Indian consumers since it is suitable for Indian riding conditions. The TVS Apache bikes are created with the aim of competing with the other bikes such as Pulsar and CBZ. It shakes the competitors with its unique design and sporty look. The Apache 250cc bike will perform an automatic self-check which is marked by the blinking of an LED on the console. It has the speed sensor which watches the speed of the wheel and sends signals continuously to the HECU.
The Apache bike owns a sporty headlamp with wide fuel tank cowl which gives the front appearance very stylish. Big air scoops are mounted at the fuel tank which enriches the cooling capacity of the bike. The dashboard is in digital mode but the tachometer appears in analogue format. The TVS Apache 250 cc is powered by a 250cc, single cylinder, 4 stroke, air cooling engine which is expected to deliver the maximum power of 30 BHP @ 9500 RPM and maximum torque of 2.2 KGM @ 8000 RPM. The engine of the bike is mated to the five speed gear box with multi plate wet type clutch for smooth and convenient ride. The new bike gets a both self and electric start which is easy for the rider to start their vehicle. The Apache 250 may offer better performance in terms of fuel efficiency in which the maximum speed offered by the bike is around 150 kmph which is quite good.
The TVS Apache 250 is fitted with a 290mm disc at the front and 220mm disc with an optional ABS at the rear helps to stop the vehicle immediately while riding at high level of speed. On the other hand, the bike is easy to handle with the telescopic fork suspension at the front and gas shocks and monoshock rectangular swing arm suspension at the rear. The side profile of the vehicle is decorated with an alloy wheel of tire size 100/80 x 17” at the front and 130/70 x 17” at the rear offering better grip ness and it reduce the chances of skidding and sudden punctures.
