Tata Motors has showcased its new twin compact sedan known as Kite 5 at the Auto Expo 2016 which is the second offering from the manufacturer in its segment. This new vehicle will be kept just below the Zest in its class but it is expected to replace the ageing Indigo eCS.

Tata Kite 5 will come with decent external dimensions which defines the shape of the vehicle. The dimensions in terms of length, width and height are as follows.

Tata Kite 5 Engine Specification
The Tata Kite 5 seems to have the same engines as the Zica hatchback which is powered by an all new all aluminium 1.2 liter three cylinder Revotron unit and 1.05 liter three cylinder Revotorq engine. Its petrol engine of the vehicle is expected to generate the maximum power of 85PS and 114Nm torque output while the diesel engine generates 70PS power and 140Nm torque. Compared to diesel engine, the petrol engine power and torque delivery is high and it is to be noted that both engines will be mated to a five speed manual transmission and AMT gearbox will be available later. Both petrol and diesel engines of the new Kite 5 will be offered with multi drive modes namely Eco and City.
Tata Kite 5 Features
Tata Kite 5 borrows its mechanicals and styling with the hatchback along with an additional boot differentiating the vehicle. The vehicle has been designed with a new impact design language of Tata Motors and the front has a chrome line extending into the dual chamber headlamps. It is offered with LED tail lamps along with an integrated roof spoiler. This new vehicle will be well known for its high boot storage capacity of 420 litres which is 13 litres high to its closest rival. Its fuel tank capacity is found to be 35 litres which is really good. When it is talking about its interior section, it will have a neat looking instrument panel and its design elements includes a grey and black dashboard with grey seats, ac vents with color inserts, climate control and steering mounted audio controls.
