Color Options

Tata Hexa is available in 5 distinct paint shades. They are:

1) Arizona Blue
2) Tungsten Silver
3) Pearl White
4) Platinum Silver
5) Sky Grey

Design and Style

The Tata Hexa is accessible with a seven-seat format and in addition a novel six-seat configuration. It gets a rough body cladding and monstrous 19-inch wheels with low-profile, 235-segment tyres to keep it from resembling a MPV. The front of the newly launched Hexa SUV gets a new age grille, new headlamps and a bold bumper. Speaking about interior, it comes loaded with touchscreen infotainment system, soft touch plastics, and leather upholstery and climate control.

The instrument console is an all-new and shows the instant fuel efficiency and other details.

Engine Specification

The Tata Hexa has three variants on offer. The base XE comes with a 2.2-litre Varicor diesel engine good for 150hp and 320Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The next two trims, XM and XT, come with a slightly more powerful 2.2-litre 156hp 400Nm Varicor400 diesel engine. This engine gets six-speed manual as well as automatic gearboxes.

The Hexa equipped with the six-speed manual gearbox comes with four drive modes – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road.

Handling and Safety Features

Under Auto, the auto's frameworks consequently adjust to the street conditions with control frameworks coming energetically when required.

In Comfort, the car is perfect for cruising long separations. In Dynamic, the primary concentration is on outright performance. The Rough Road mode tunes the car's frameworks to handle rough terrain driving conditions with retuned brake execution and takes into consideration the brakes to bolt up, in this manner enhancing control. For safety, the Tata Hexa is equipped with dual front airbags and ABS as standard on all trims. The Hexa XT gets six airbags, traction control and ESP.

Prices

The Hexa's beginning cost is about Rs 48,000 less expensive than the Mahindra XUV500 W4 and around Rs 2.23 lakh not as much as the Toyota Innova Crysta GX diesel.

Tata Hexa prices (ex-showroom, Delhi)

XE - Rs 11.99 lakh
XM - Rs 13.85 lakh
XMA - Rs 15.05 lakh
XT - Rs 16.20 lakh
XTA - Rs 17.4 lakh
XT 4X4 - Rs 17.49 lakh

Verdict

The Hexa as a bundle is a Neil Armstrong estimated jump for Tata Motors with regards to quality and plan (particularly on the inside). It is heavier than it ought to have been and that affects on-street execution yet as an agreeable people transporter, the Hexa gives the Toyota Innova a keep running for its cash. With its sights prepared solidly on any semblance of the Mahindra XUV500 and even the Hyundai Creta to a specific degree, the Tata Hexa is a fair item that should do well.
