Tata ConnectNext Electric Review
Tata Motors has unveiled its new electric concept car named as ConnectNext with advanced features at an attractive price. The Tata ConnectNext Electric is expected to be priced around Rs.5,00,000. The vehicle has been designed in order to provide an incredible new experience with great connectivity, simple, yet, high-tech functionality and great electronics.
The new ConnectNext is a five seating vehicle with floating seats and side mounts. The front fascia of the car is really impressive with bright headlamps and the interior is well equipped with a head up display, integrated screens on the seat backs along with wireless headphones.
The overall length of the new car will be approximately 4000mm. In addition, the car has an iPod classic inspired click wheel driver/co driver centre arm control and option of Cloud Connectivity for home-to-car and car-to-home usage for rear passengers which is quite good. The cloud connectivity enables to hold video conference, wireless hub for music customization and video streaming.
The vehicle will be fitted with an electric parking brake enabling the vehicle to stop it even travelling at a high level of speed. The car has some important features such as automatic transmission, keyless entry, steering linked active indicators and a touch enable centre stack.
The vehicle provides occupant cooling mechanism which replaces the cabin cooling in order to minimize the power consumption through the temperature sensors. It has a B-pillar less configuration for easy access and exit. The Tata ConnectNext is powered by an electric motor mated to the dual clutch automatic transmission. The vehicle is expected to offer better performance in terms of its power, torque, fuel efficiency.
Both front and rear brakes are of electric parking brake enhancing the braking efficiency of the car. Along with the other features, the car gets a power steering in order to handle the vehicle in an easy way. The ConnectNext is built with a new Human Machine Interface system which would capture the passenger or driver’s commands and perform according to that.
