Tata Bolt Sport ReviewTata Motors has recently debuted a performance oriented sport version of the hatchback Bolt named as Tata Bolt Sport at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Tata Bolt Sport will come with lot of modifications over the previous Bolt car which is expected to be launched by the end of this year.
The Tata Bolt Sport will be powered by the same Bolt 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine with slight changes for higher performance. It will produce the maximum power output of 120bhp at 5500rpm and maximum torque of 170Nm at 2000-3000rpm which is mated to the five speed manual gearbox for better performance. To enrich the engine responsiveness of the vehicle, the Bolt Sport also receives tweaked gear ratios.
The new Tata Bolt Sport will have a multi drive options like Bolt which includes Eco, City and Sport. The front appearance of the vehicle looks very modern and trendy with its new projector head lamps, sporty body kit with fresh rear bumper etc. The vehicle features a very different front grille, fresh bumpers with a prominent lower lip, air dams and projector lamps. In order to enhance the sportiveness of the car, it has an excellent body kit, side skirts with air vents on the front fenders. It also sports a roof spoiler, brush metal strip on the number plate and a new bumper with a pair of diffusers.
While talking about its interiors, the car is too too spacious with little modifications like black leather upholstery with red stitches and accents, sunroof, Harman touch screen infotainment system along with voice recognition and SMS readout etc. Like exteriors, the interior cabin features all black leather upholstery with red stitched seating arrangement which will amplifies the sportiveness of the interiors. For better safety, the Tata Bolt Sport will be offered with Anti-Locking Braking System, Corner Stability Control and dual airbags etc.
Tata has well incorporated the Bolt Sport with disc-brakes all round along with a sportier suspension for better performance on the road. It will be fitted with a 17-inch split-six-spoke alloy wheels to enhance the sporty look of the car. It is expected to be a very tough competitor car to its similar other cars in terms of design, performance, cost and many more.
