Suzuki Gladius 650 Review
The leading two wheeler manufacturer Suzuki has decided to roll out its new sportive bike known as Gladius 650 which is expected to be priced around Rs.8,50,000. The new bike will be a blending of practicality and sporty style which would definitely impress the young bike enthusiasts.
The Gladius 650 will be one of the stylish and sportive bike giving a stunning appearance compared to its competitors. The front appearance looks really good with the bright headlamp for better vision while riding at night time. It will have a small visor fixed between the stylish rear view mirrors which are quite good. The bike gets a super moto handle bars enables easy handling of the bike. The bike will be well decorated with the decent digitalized instrument cluster including fuel guage, analogue tacho meter, trip meter and speedometer.
The fuel tank of the bike is very wide looking very aggressive with the fluorescent paints. The seats will also be very comfy for both rider and pillion with the usage of highly water resistant Alcantara leather for the seat’s upholstery and the bike will have a grab rail at the rear for the additional support for pillion rider. The Gladius 650 features a stylish exhaust and the seat height of the bike is of 2.75 inches.
The new Gladius 650 will be powered by a 645cc V Twin, double overhead camshaft engine for better performance in terms of power and torque delivery. The vehicle is expected to generate the maximum power output of 72 bhp at 8400 rpm and better torque. It will have an electrically controlled starter with the compression ratio of 11.5:1. The engine of the upcoming bike will be mated to the six speed gearbox for excellent ride. The bike gets an electric start option for the rider to feel easy while starting the vehicle. The Suzuki Gladius 650 will be one of the fuel efficient bike with the fuel tank capacity of around 14.5 liters.
The new bike will be offered with excellent braking systems in which the both front and rear wheel will have a dual hydraulic disc brakes for instant braking even riding at high level of speed. The suspension is also expected to be good for easy handling of the bike. The front tire of the bike will be 120/70 ZR17M/C 58W and rear tire will be 160/60 ZR17M/C 69W for better road gripness. The tyres are of puncture resistant in order to avoid puncture problems and skidding. Apart from that, the Suzuki Gladius 650 will provide the wheelbase of about 1445 mm.
