The Thunderbird 500 features a 4 stroke, twin spark, air cooled, single cylinder engine which offers the displacement very close to 499cc. The engine of the bike delivers the maximum power of about 27.2 BHP @ 5250 RPM in coupling with the combination of maximum torque of 4.17 KG @ 4000 RPM. The bore and stroke of the Thunderbird 500 is measured as 84 mm and 90 mm respectively. The bike has both electric and kick start option enabling the rider to choose according to their wish.
