The giant manufacturer Royal Enfield has planned to re-introduce its new model christened as Continental GT in Indian market very soon. The bike would be available in only one variant namely Royal Enfield Continental GT 535. The price of Royal Enfield Continental GT is expected around 2,25,000 and it may vary according to the places.

The Royal Enfield Continetal GT is one of the lightest, fastest and powerful bike in its segment. The design of the bike gives an elegant look to the riders and bike enthusiasts of all age groups. The Royal Enfield Continental GT comes with a powerful and dynamic engine which features a single cylinder, 4 stroke, air cooled engine which gives the displacement of about 535 cc. The bore and stroke of the bike is measured as 87 mm and 90 mm along with the compression ratio of 8.5:1 respectively. The engine of the bike churns out the maximum power output of 29.1 BHP @ 5100 RPM in combination with the maximum torque of 44 NM @ 4000 RPM. The two wheeler has a digital electric ignition and it is mated with a proficient five speed constant mesh gearbox as well as wet multi-plate clutch which gives smooth ride. The engine oil used by the bike involves 15W 50 API, SL Grade JASO MA. The two wheeler is incorporated with both electric and kick start in which the riders can choose according to their wish.

The Continental GT is well known for its quick acceleration and stability at high speeds. The bike can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just a short span of 9.4 seconds and the maximum speed offered by the bike is around 148 kmph. The five speed manual gearbox with wet multi-plate clutch helps in delivering better performance and mileage. The bike comes with a Brembo 300 mm floating disc, 2 piston floating caliper front brake and 240mm disc, single piston floating caliper rear brake which provides instant braking while moving even at high speeds.
