Maruti Suzuki is well known for its name and fame which is considered to be one of the leading four wheeler manufacturer has planned to launch its new innovative car christened as Maruti Suzuki A-Wind. Since the Maruti A-Star has disappointed the people, the company has decided to replace the hatchback with new A-Wind provided with lot of exciting and thrilling features. The perfect small family hatchback is expected to be launched very soon with a price tag of 4 to 6 lakhs depending on the variants.
Interiors of Maruti A-Wind
The interiors of the new Maruti A-Wind will be very spacious and practical while compared with its previous car A Star. The car will be designed in a dual color combination with lighter shades for an elegant appearance. It will possess a decent simple dashboard integrated with features such as control knobs and leather covered steering wheels. At the centre, it will be fitted with a large touch screen display placed just above the AC controls. The car looks very roomy with excellent interior designs and it will have enough headroom, legroom, boot space for keeping some luggage etc. These features will make the passengers to feel very comfy and luxurious while travelling for long hours. In order to increase the comfort level, the car will be provided with extendable space between the front and rear seats, wide opening doors for easy entry into and exit from the vehicle which is quite good.
Exteriors of Maruti A-Wind
The new Maruti A-Wind has been designed with three main concepts which includes a roomy cabin, a dynamic body and fine quality. It has an excellent external dimension in terms of its length, width and height. The overall length and width of the hatchback is around 3600 mm and 1600 mm where as the height of the car is 1540 mm respectively. Along with that, the car will provide the wheelbase of around 2425 mm. The front part of the car gives an impressive look with the dynamic front grille fixed with bright headlights. The headlight helps the driver for travelling at night time or even in bad weather conditions. The front grille of the car will boasts twin chrome bars running through the grille which is going inside the headlamps. The side profile of the A-Wind will be very attractive with a deep character line running from front fender to rear door as well as it has a pull type door handles which is really superb. The five seating vehicle will be incorporated with a 16 inch alloy wheels with 185/55 R16 tyres for better road gripness while riding even at high speed. The fuel tank capacity of the car will be 35 litres and minimum turning radius is around 4.5 meters.
Maruti A-Wind Engine Details
The Maruti A-Wind is powered by a 3 cylinder petrol engine which will deliver the displacement of about 996 cc. The engine will churn out the maximum power output of 67 PS and maximum torque output of 90 NM. The engine is mated with a five speed manual CVT gearbox for smooth and quicker gear shifts.
Maruti A-Wind Performance
It is expected that the Maruti A-Wind will offer decent acceleration and pick up. The car can able to touch from 0-60 kmph in just 7.44 seconds. The vehicle will offer the maximum speed of approximately 166 kmph which is quite outstanding. The Maruti A-Wind fuel efficiency will also be good which would satisfy the consumers.
Brakes and Suspensions
The Maruti A-Wind will be packed with standard braking and suspension systems which will definitely add more safety and security to both vehicle and travelling persons. The front brake of the car will have disc type while the rear will have drum brakes. This combination of disc and drum brakes will stop the vehicle immediately even travelling at high speed. On the other hand, the front suspension is of MC Pherson Strut with coil spring while the rear suspension is of isolated trailing link with coil spring. For more safety, the A-Wind will be supported with a 16 inch alloy wheels with 185/55 R16 tyres which gives more road gripness while driving even at high speeds.
