Design and Style
Maxximo Minivan is easily one of the most comfortable passenger vehicles on the Indian roads with the longest passenger seat measuring 1540 mm in its segment. It comes in two variants: D+6 and D+7 seating arrangement. Taller and wider than most other vehicles in its class, you have ample legroom, elbowroom and headroom. So, breathe easy and feel relaxed even on long journeys.
The seats are extra padded and extra comfortable providing better posture. They are even wider and taller than usual and come with headrests. This ensures that the drivers are free from back pain. Also, there’s no obstacle between the driver and co-driver seat, so the driver gets to lie down and rest between trips. Remain fresh throughout the most tiring journeys.
No matter how long the journey is, passengers would feel at ease with butterfly windows that are designed for proper ventilation.
Maxximo Minivan comes with an attractive full-length rexin roof-liner which maintains cabin temperature at comfortable levels at all times. So, escape the heat with ease.
The Maxximo Mini Van flaunts an attractive front-look. It comes with a full door with fixed glass at the rear that enhances its appeal.
The Maxximo Mini Van is styled to ensure that you never go unnoticed. Thanks to its wrap-around headlights that flank the signature front grille. Plus with multi-focal reflectors, you get the added benefit of improved visibility at night.
The dashboard of the Maxximo Minivan will lead you into believing that you’re driving a car for sure. There’s also a spacious glove box that allows you to store your paperwork and small items.
The sparkling rail lights give the Maxximo Mini Van a stylishly contemporary look which is bound to grab eyeballs.
Engine Specification
Mahindra Maxximo Mini Van is powered by a common rail 2 cylinder diesel engine which displaces 909cc. It develops maximum power of 25 Bhp at 3600 rpm with maximum torque of 55 Nm at 2200 rpm. The company claims that Maxximo Mini Van returns mileage of around 18 kmpl on highway.
Braking and Handling
The front tyres use IFS (independent front suspension) with McPherson strut suspension and leaf spring with shock absorbers is used in rear suspension. It has a fuel tank capacity of 33 litres and gives an average mileage of 20 kmpl. Its kerb weight is 1090 kg and the gross weight is 1750 kg. With LSPV (load sensing proportional valve) it has disk brakes at front and drum brakes in rear wheels with booster assist technology. The booster assist technology magnifies the braking pressure resulting in the faster deceleration and the chances of spinning of vehicle will be minimal and the vehicle will be stable.
Safety
The Maxximo Mini Van ensures complete protection. The rigid body with a monocoque structure keeps the vehicle stable even at high speeds. It is capable of overcoming the abuse of bad roads and is designed to withstand rough and tough use. In case of roll-over, the tough structure guarantees the safety of its occupants. The Maxximo Mini Van’s rear tailgate with full door and fixed glass ensure the safety of the last row passengers and luggage.
To ensure that your journey is safe, the Maxximo is fitted with Vacuum Assisted Booster & Load Sensing Proportionate Valve (LSPV). The LSPV regulates the fluid pressure to the rear wheels by sensing the load on the vehicle. This results in better braking stability on different load conditions and prevents rear wheel locking on all seasonal (wet & dry) conditions.
The Maxximo Mini Van doesn’t rely on the outdated mechanical cable operated accelerator. Instead, it comes equipped with the drive-by-wire technology you’ll find only in advanced cars. This consists of a sophisticated pedal position sensor that closely tracks the position to which you press the accelerator. The information is sent to the Engine Control Module (ECM), or in simpler terms, a small computer embedded in the Maxximo Mini Van. With the drive by wire accelerator, the vehicle is much more responsive and has an instant pick up.
Verdict
Thus Mahindra Maxximo Mini Van is a comfortable passenger carrying vehicle. It comes with lots of safety, comfort and excellent braking and suspension systems. It can accommodate a total of 8 passengers at a time. It has a very good leg room space. On the whole it’s a good passenger travelling vehicle given by Mahindra.
