The leading four wheeler manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra plans for a new electric version of the car known as Mahindra Halo Electric which is going to be designed by Mahindra Reva’s in-house team with designers from Pininfarina and Bertone firms.
The new car will be a two-door and two-seater electric sports concept car. The price of Mahindra Halo electric will be in the range of Rs.30-35 lakhs respectively. The Halo is believed to be not only a sports car but also it will be easy to own and drive.
The Halo will give a terrific look and style but it is expected to hold some important features including Air Conditioner, Power Windows, Power Steering, Driver AirBags, Central Locking and many more. It is expected to flaunt a vintage appearance at the front of the car.
The Mahindra Halo will be powered by an electric motor with a high capacity battery which can develop 105 kw or around 140 BHP. The new vehicle will reach 0-100 kmph in just a set of sub-seven seconds and the maximum speed of about 200 kmph which will be quite good.
The car will be provided with an awesome braking and suspension mechanisms in which both front and rear will have disc brakes. This braking system helps to halt the vehicle immediately in case of any emergency situation. Likewise, it will have an excellent suspension mechanism which is very easy to handle the new car.
