Mahindra Alfa passenger is a passenger carrier three wheeler from Mahindra, Loaded with a small yet powerful engine and having a rigid basic structure coupled with wonderful suspensions, the Alfa Passenger performs exceptionally well with different conditions and on all types of roads. The large area for the variant, the strong structure and very well designed cabin makes this three-wheeler a consumer friendly vehicle and a supreme business partner who saves money, time and effort. The pick-up vehicle is offered in three body styles with diesel and CNG fuel options. The vehicle with longer wheelbase is called as Alfa Passenger while the other two models are named as Alfa Passenger and Alfa Passenger.

Dimensions

The mini truck has a pretty generous load area. It measures 2990mm in length, 1480mm in width and 1905mm in height and a wheelbase of 2005mm. It has a turning radius of 3500mm and a ground clearance of 175mm.

Design and Style

Mahindra Alfa Passenger is built to be tough right from its basic structure. The choice of sheet metal and has ensured higher durability and protection from rust. The long wheelbase for the Alfa Passenger model has been designed in such a way that there is additional legroom space in the box yet the stability of ride and safety are not compromised. Engine Specification

Mahindra has cautiously developed engines for the Alfa Passenger since the vehicle is expected to be powerful, efficient and durable at the same time. There is a single cylinder 395 cc engine which is designed to give out 5.51 KW @ 3600 rpm and has a maximum torque rating of 16.7 Nm @ 2200-2800 rpm. The CNG fueled engine is designed for better efficiency and better output. Both the mills get 4-speed constant mesh type gearbox which couples with the powertrain flawlessly to come out with powerful drive. The suspension system comprises of swing arm type unit with coil springs at front and telescopic hydraulic type shock absorbers with rubber springs at rear. Both these units function exceptionally well resulting in better handling and longer durability.

Braking and Handling

The truck gets both front and rear brakes of drum type with leading and trailing shoes. On the other hand, the front suspension is antidive leading link with helical spring and hydraulic shock absorber and rear suspension is of rubber spring type. It also has a tyre size of about 4.5 x 10", 8 PR which gives a good road grip and easy to handle any type of road conditions.

Security

From the safety perspective, the Alfa Passenger scores well in terms of strength and driving stability. The platform is very rigid and is very well designed to give greater firmness in every drive. The brakes too are designed for perfect functionality both in loaded and unloaded condition.

Verdict

Mahindra Alfa Passenger comes with good engine specifications, braking and handling system. It gives the users a wide area of legroom space which makes them to be in their comfortable zone.
