KTM Duke 125cc Review
The KTM Duke is one of the upcoming bike expected with a price less than 1 lakh rupees. It may be available in various attractive range of color shades such as orange, black and white. It is a light weight entry level premium vehicle packed with an aerodynamic body with eye catching graphics targeting youngsters to handle the bike even at any road condition.
The body structure of the KTM Duke 125cc is light weight chassis which makes easy to handle the bike. The front appearance of the bike looks very sportive and modern. The front posture is blessed with bright headlamp for better vision at night time ride. It has an excellent info display for the rider to be updated with the vital information of the bike.
The total kerb weight of the bike is found to be 128 kg and it offers the ground clearance of 185 mm. The fuel tank of the bike gives a masculine look with the fuel tank capacity of 13L with fuel reserve of 2.5L. The seating arrangement is really different with step up seats offering more comfortness to both rider and pillion. The rear ends with a beautiful tail lamp which is quite good.
The KTM Duke 125cc will be powered by a 125cc, liquid cooled, DOHC engine producing the maximum power output of 15 bhp at 10500 rpm in combination with the maximum torque output of 1.22 kgm at 8000 rpm. The bike will be offered with a self start option for easy start up of the vehicle.
The engine of the bike will be mated to the six speed gearbox for easy and smooth gear shifts. The bike will be well equipped with a fuel injection technology which is expected to deliver a healthy mileage of around 30 kmpl. The Duke 125cc is expected to offer the maximum speed of around 120 kmph.
The KTM Duke 125cc has been offered with awesome braking and suspension mechanisms. Both front and rear wheels are fitted with disc type brakes. The front brake of the bike is of 280 mm while the rear brake is of 230 mm. On the other hand, the front suspension will be provided with the inverted forks while the rear suspension is of mono shock type.
The upcoming bike has been designed with an alloy wheel option along with puncture resistant tyres of front tire size 110/70-17 and rear tire size of 150/60-17. The new bike is expected to feature digital ignition, dual muffler exhaust, tubeless tyres and many more. With its sportive appearance, KTM Duke 125cc would be liked by most of the young bike enthusiasts but only drawback is its low engine power.
