Hyundai is considered to be the second largest car manufacturer and it has launched its sedan known as Accent packed with excellent features and specification. The Accent comes in both petrol and LPG models which includes Hyundai Accent Executive and Hyundai Accent Executive LPG with a reasonable cost. But the prices may changes according to the places. The Hyundai Accent color options for all the variants includes Crystal White, Dark Gray Metallic, Sleek Silver, Berry Red and Silky Beige. The car is powered by a 1.5 L, 1495 cc, 4 cylinder, 12 valve, SOHC petrol engine which delivers the maximum speed of 95 PS @ 5500 RPM and maximum torque of 12.7 KGM @ 3500 RPM with a five speed manual gearbox for smooth gear shifting. The Accent gives a good and decent acceleration for both city and highway driving. The fuel tank capacity for the car is about 45 litres and the engine generates a healthy mileage of 12.3 kmpl in the city and 13.5 kmpl on highways. The LPG variant also offers more or less the same fuel economy.
The front appearance of the car is very pretty which possess a wide clear headlamps, front grille with horizontal slats with company logo affixed on it, body coloured front bumper and lower grille. The dashboard of the car looks decent with the some advanced controls such as instrument panel, AC vents and glove box placed on it. The seating arrangements offers a premium feel with the adjustable and foldable rear seats ensures more comfy to the passengers. It is possible to accommodate five passengers including the driver without any trouble. The car boasts a 3 spoke tilt and power steering wheel along with the gear knob covered in leather. I’ve been driving the Accent quite a while now and it has been faithful so far. I’m able to maintain around 17 kpl. The interiors have lasted so far. So no major quality issues there. The ride however has degraded. The acceleration is a little slower and I don’t remember the top speed anymore. But considering its resale value I have no worries.
