Honda BR-V Concept Review
The Japanese car manufacturer Honda has recently showcased its new concept car christened as Vision XS-1 which allows the company to enter into a new compact SUV segment and it would be a tough competitor to other popular compact SUVs including Ford EcoSport, Honda Jazz and Renault Duster. Actually, Honda reveals that the Vision XS-1 can be called as BR-V
The Exciting Honda Design BR-V is expected to be priced around Rs.8-10 lakhs respectively which is based on Brio platform. The Honda BR-V has been developed on the basis of Honda’s man maximum, machine minimum concept and the space has been increased for the passengers with minimum space for mechanical components. The new car will be available in both petrol and diesel engine in which the petrol engine will be powered by a 1.5 litre mated to five speed manual and CVT options where as the diesel engine will get a 1.5 litre engine.
The Honda BR-V will come with excellent exterior which is fitted with a broad single lined chrome front grille along with company’s badge at the middle and stylish bumpers. Along with that, the car features a bright headlamp and an unique fog lamps. The front gets a decent dashboard with fine quality plastics and the interior fabric mating is really appreciable. It features a minimal instrument cluster with a high tech providing an almost industrial feel.
The interior of the car is also very impressive along with spacious cabin which can accommodate five passengers comfortably. The car is well incorporated with three row of seats which is quite good. The side profile of the car will be decorated with giant alloy wheels. The BR-V will be provided with single sliding doors with large openings giving an elegance appearance to the car.
The vehicle is offered with the chunky tyres for the rugged look. The car will be indulged with minimal overhangs and beveled wheel arches with dark tinted protections. It has a minimal side-view cameras and the wing shaped tail lamps which protrude from the body surface.
The Honda BR-V is expected to reach from 0-60 in just 10.5 seconds. The car will have a power steering for easy handling of the vehicle. The front suspension of the car is fitted with a telescopic hydraulic forks and monoshock suspension at the rear side. Both front and rear wheels are offered with disc brakes for better braking.
