The company claims that the Unicorn is well known for its reliability, comfort and value for money along with eye-catching features. The new bike has been designed and styled according to the taste of the youths. Overall the design of the bike is trendy and pleasing to the eyes but it’s a tough competitor to its similar other bike manufacturers such as Yamaha, Suzuki & Bajaj.

Design and Style
Honda Unicorn offers an excellent look and most of the design is derived from the CB1000R. The bike comes with a neat head light design and the front part of the bike also has a stylish meter console. The meter console not only provides the speed but also offers other riding data adding adrenaline rush. The unicorn gets a handle bar weights giving more stability and it allows to stay in control providing a smoother ride. The Honda 3D Wing Mark Emblem is fixed on the fuel tank in three dimensional form offering royal and sophisticated look. It has a sharp and distinct side panel and the fuel tank gives a muscular tone to the body of the bike. The Unicorn comes with a body coloured grab which improves the style of the bike and the gear shift lever helps to ride smoothly which is designed specially to place the control on the toes. The bike is incorporated with the viscous air filter in order to cut down on maintenance. The rear part of the bike is very compact and uniqe which gives a sporty look.

The dimensions of the Honda Unicorn is really appreciable in which the length of the bike is measured as 2095 mm, width is 756 mm and the height is around 1100 mm respectively. The Unicorn gets a total kerb weight of about 146 kg and the wheel base offered by the bike is 1340 mm. The Honda Unicorn is powered by an air cooled, 4 stroke, SI engine which churns out the maximum power of 13.3 BHP @ 8000 RPM in coupling with the maximum torque of 1.3 Kg-m @ 5500 RPM. This superior performance black robust engine gives a displacement of 149.1 and it has a viscous air filter along with carb fuel injection. The starting system may be kick or self and it is mated with a five speed constant mesh transmission assuring smooth ride. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is nearly 13 litres with 1.3 litre reserve tank capacity.
Acceleration and Mileage
Honda Unicorn provides an ideal combination of pickup and mileage since the bike is packed with multi mappling CDI, roller rocker arm, tumble flow combustion chamber combined with the aerodynamic body. The bike can be able to cross 0-60 kmph in just 5 seconds and it also generate a healthy mileage of about 60 kmpl.
Brakes and Suspensions
Brakes and Suspension system is also very good at Unicorn. The front brake of the bike is of disc type with 240mm diameter while the rear brake is of drum type with 130 mm diameter. It has an advanced design diamond frame chassis which is quite impressive. On the other hand, the front suspension of the bike comes with a telescopic fork and the rear suspension has an advanced technology mono-suspension type with tube tire. The front tire is measured as 2.75 x 18 42P (4PR) and the rear tire is of 100/90 – 18 56P. The mono-suspension gives more stability and comfort for confident riding on any terrains. The bike is blessed with premium and sporty black alloy wheels gives responsive control over the road surfaces. The tuff-up tube of the bike helps in reduced risk of sudden punctures and it gives a hassle-free ride without any unplanned stops. For better safety, the bike gets a bright and radiant halogen lamps which is useful while riding at night time.
