March 31, 2011 - Honda Motorcycles has recently unveiled its new ABS version of CBR250r with a price of Rs.1,68,001 (ex-showroom Delhi). This bike is available in three color options such as red, silver and black. The Honda CBR250r is powered by a single cylinder 250cc DOHC engine. This bike has the capacity of reducing emissions and also enhance the power and mileage. The company believes that CBR's PGM-FI technology in Honda CBR250 makes easy starting even in cold weather.

Honda has been the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer which launched its new CBR250r fitted with ABS. The full-cowl body presents a highly advanced design full of functional beauty. This is specially designed with PGM-FI technology. The bike is available in 400 Honda dealers in the country. The new CBR250r comes up with two versions namely CBR250R with ABS and CBR250R without ABS.

Engine

The Honda CBR250r engine is designed by a single cylinder, 4 stroke, 250cc DOHC engine. This honda bike engines is very light and compact which caters smooth and vibe free performance. The CBR250r possess Bore x Stroke of 76 x 55 mm and it pumps out a massive power of 25Bhp @ 8500 rpm along with the torque of 22.9 Nm @ 7000 rpm.

Safety features

The Honda CBR250r is packed with Combined ABS( Anti-Lock Brake System) which makes the movement of the bike more stable while braking. The braking is done by bringing together a CBS and ABS. The front brake of the Honda bike is measured as 296 mm while the rear brake is 220 mm of hydraulic disc type. Apart from that, it is made up of Telescopic type front suspension and the rear suspension is of Swing arm (Pro-link system). Honda India has also affixed saree guard for the comfort of female pillion riders.
