Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched its new CB Trigger which is a naked street bike looking very trendy and superb. The new CB Trigger 150 is a tough competitor to its similar other 150cc bikes. The new naked bike is a step up from the Dazzler which is more revised and refined providing a sporty and comfortable bike.

The Honda has influenced most of the design from the Dazzler regarding the style and design. It looks more aggressive and it is a tough competitor to similar other bikes like Yamaha FZ-S. Honda CB Trigger Engine

The Honda CB Trigger is powered by a 149.1 cc, four stroke, single cylinder and air-cooled engine which is mated with a smooth shifting five speed gearbox. This powerful engine delivers the maximum power of about 14 BHP @ 8500 RPM in combination with the maximum torque of around 12.5 NM @ 6500 RPM. The bike gets a gear shift pattern of 4 upwards and 1 downwards respectively and the air filter is of viscous air filter. The fuel injection of the engine is of carb type and the starting sytem is of kick or self. The new bike comes with a beefed-up variant of CB Twister along with some elements inspired from the Dazzler bike.

The Honda CB Trigger provides a decent acceleration in which the car can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 6.0 seconds whereas it can reach from 0-100 kmph in just 20.9 seconds. The bike can be able to achieve the maximum speed of about 107.3 kmph which is really impressive. The company claims that it would generate an excellent mileage.

The Honda CB Trigger is well known for its fuel efficiency in which the new bike provides a mileage of about 42.3 kmpl in urban roads and 61.9 kmpl on highways. Overall, the bike offers a decent mileage of about 60 kmpl along with the fuel tank capacity of nearly 12 litres which is quite good.

Brakes and Suspensions

Honda has performed a great job on the trigger for its excellent braking and suspension system. Actually, the CB Triggers is considered to be the first bike comes with an option of Combi Brake System which improves stability under hard braking and minimizes as much as 32 percent. Both front and rear brakes of the Trigger is of disc type but the diameter may varies such as 240 mm for the front and 220 mm for the rear. The CBS is an optional one and the bike has an advanced design diamond frame which is good. Moving to the suspension, the bike gets a telescopic front suspension and rear mono suspension which makes easy to handle the bike. The usage of mono suspension design assures centralization of mass along with rider stability and confidence while going through a sharp turns in any kind of road conditions.
