Splendor Pro Classic is a new avatar from the Hero MotoCorp that is being revealed as café racer motorcycle with excellent and stunning features. Arriving at the price tag of Rs 53,900(ex-showroom-Delhi) this café-racer is made available in two color shades-Carbon black and Solid Maroon.

Ergonomics:

The cafe racer is a blending of vintage and young styling.Thus a mixture of retro styled graphics and cafe racing styling is reflected.Its prominent features include fresh handlebar,classic round headlight and taillight,cafe racer cowl with an added chrome part at the front and rear fenders,winkers,suspension cover and rear view mirrors. All these features gives the bike retro yet cool look.Lets step into its intrinsic features in detail. Classic round headlight gives better visibility during night ride.The twin-pod analogue instrumental console comprise of fuel gauge and speedometer.With the fresh handle bar,one can take different directions.With rear view mirrors to see the rear happenings on the road.Tail lights integrated winkers gives appeal to the back.Introducing single seater option in to the Cafe Racer motorcycle culture is teh new attempt made by teh company.Side panel looks good with the lines on the fuel tank. In addition to this,features like lower handled chrome finished mudguards,maintanancefree battery have also been added.

Engine and Performance:

A 97.2cc,4-stroke engine said to power up the bike churning out at 8.36 PS at 8000 rpm and peak torque of 8.05 Nm at 5000 rpm.These power and torque figures are higher than teh normal Splendor PRo where the power and torque rate comes up to 7.8 PS at 7,500 rpm and 8.04 Nm at 4,500 rpm respectively.The engine gets mated to the four speed constant mesh for better ride.Teh fuel tank capacity of the new bike is approximately 11 litres along with a reserve capacity of 1.4 litre.

Riding and Handling:

The bike is fitted with 130mm dia drum brakes at the front and 110mm dia drum brakes at the rear end enhances the braking features of Splendor PRO Classic.Likewise the Splendor PRo Classic is easy to handle witht eh telescopic hydraulic shock absorber susepnsion at the front while the rear suspension is of five step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber. With the ground clearance of 159mm and kerb weight of 109kg great stability is achieved.

Verdict:

Encompassed with all such features this café racer arrives at the price tag of Rs 53,900/-.It is to be noted that it is cheapest motorcycle offered from the two-wheeler space.
