The Splendor came to Indian market in 1994 and it is known to be an excellent successor to the CD 100. It is available in various avatars and one of the avatar is Splendor Plus. The new Hero Splendor Plus 100 is packed with standard features including optional alloy wheels, stylish instrument console etc. It has been priced at Rs.45,655 and it competes with its similar other bikes such as Bajaj Discover 100 and TVS Sport.

Hero Splendor Plus 100 Measurements

Hero Splendor Plus 100 has been designed with a sporting length of 1970mm, width of 720mm and height of 1040mm. The vehicle could be able to provide the larger wheelbase of 1230mm and minimum ground clearance of 159mm. This exterior measurement defines the shape of the Splendor Plus 100 and it is liked by all youths.

The Hero Splendor Plus 100 looks very stylish with exciting body graphics which makes the crowd to turn their head. Hero Splendor Plus is packed with powerful engine for better power and torque. The engine of the bike is powered by an air cooled, four stroke single cylinder, OHC which produces the displacement very close to 97.2cc. It churns out the maximum power output of 5.5Kw (7.5Ps) at 8000rpm and maximum torque output of 7.95Nm at 5000rpm mated to the four speed constant mesh. The bore and stroke of the two wheeler is measured as 50mm and 49.5mm with compression ratio of 9:!. The tubular double cradle chassis type bike is incorporated with a CDI ignition for excellent engine performance.

Talking about the fuel efficiency of the Hero Splendor Plus 100, the company claims that it delivers an impressive mileage of 65 kmpl. On city riding, it gives a mileage of 56kmpl and on highways 70kmpl is obtained. On an average, the Hero Splendor Plus offers an approximate mileage of 63kmpl which is really outstanding. The bike can move from 0-60kmph in just 12 seconds where as it moves from 60-0kmph in 8 seconds. Apart from that, the motorcycle provides the maximum speed of 95kmph.
