The Splendor NXG is incorporated with the new generation APDV (Advanced Pro Series Digital Variable Ignition System) engine and exciting features. The Hero Honda Splendor NXG features a 4 stroke, air cooled, single cylinder OHC engine which provides the displacement of around 97.2 cc. The engine of the bike churns out the maximum power output of 7.8 PS @ 7500 RPM in combination with the maximum torque output of 8.04 NM @ 4500 RPM. The bore and stroke of Splendor NXG is measured as 50 and 49.5 mm with the compression ratio of 9.0:1. The bike has been designed with a DC – Digital CDI and it is mated with a four speed transmission along with multiplate wet clutch ensuring quicker and smoother gear shifts.

The company claims that the new Splendor NXG would provide good acceleration and pick up. With the powerful engine fitted with the bike, the vehicle can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just a short span of 8.6 seconds and it can travel from 0-400 m in just 22.9 seconds. The maximum speed offered by the bike is around 90.1 kmph which is quite good.

The Splendor NXG is one of the fuel saving bike in which the fuel system of the bike is of carburetor, side draft, variable venture type with OHC fuel control system.
