Hero Dash Review

The latest offering of an automatic scooter from the Hero MotoCorp is the Hero Dash resembling the Maestro. The company claims that the new Dash would be a tough competitor to its similar other scooters such as Honda Activa, TVS Wego, TVS Jupiter etc. The new scooter has been designed with the target of male buyers. The price of Hero Dash may be approximately Rs.48,000. The length, width and height of the Hero Dash are represented below.

 Along with that, the scooter provides the ground clearance of around 155 mm.

The front appearance of the Hero Dash is really elegant with a bright headlamp. The Dash is fitted with external fuel filler and a mobile charging socket. The fuel filler helps to fill fuel without opening the seat and it is very easy where as the charging socket helps to charge the electronic devices. It has a six liters and 1.8 liters reserve storage capacity of fuel tank. The scooter is incorporated with a E-Code security key which is quite good.

The scooter is provided with a LED tail lamps and a service indicator option. The head lamps and tail lamps helps in offering good vision during night time ride. The overall weight of the scooter is measured as 110 kg. One of the important feature of the scooter is seat storage light which is very helpful. Some other highlighting features includes dual tone mirrors and digital analog meter.

The Hero Dash is employed with a powerful and fuel efficient 111cc 4-stroke, force air cooled, single cylinder engine which churns out the maximum power output of 8.45 BHP @ 7500 RPM and maximum torque output of 9.4 NM @ 5750 RPM.

The Hero Dash is incorporated with a 12 inch alloy wheels at the front. The scooter comes with an integrated braking technology of Combi Braking System in which both front and rear wheels are offered with 130 mm drum brakes for better braking efficiency. On the other hand, the vehicle comes with a telescopic front fork suspension for simple handling. The Dash is fitted with a tire size of 90/90/12 at the front and 90/90/10 at the rear and it has a tubeless tyres helps in minimizing the chances of punctures.
