One of the leading manufacturer Ford has introduced its car Figo Sedan packed with enhanced features which is expected with a price of Rs.7,00,000 lakhs respectively. The new Figo Sedan may be available in three variants namely 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol, 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel variant. The new car would be a great tough competitor to its similar other cars such as Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze and newly arrived Tata Zest etc. The Ford Figo Sedan may be available in various attractive color shades such as Kinectic Blue, Diamond White, Moondust Silver, Chill Metallic, Panther Black, Sea Grey, Paprika Red and Mars Red.
The Ford Figo Sedan comes with a Ford’s new design language which would definitely impress the car enthusiasts. The front fascia of the car gets an aggressively angled nose, trapezoidal oversized grill along with blacked out headlamps and fog lamps enhancing the bold styling of the vehicle. The car has been developed on the basis of B2E platform similar to the Ford EcoSport. It features an electrically adjustable power-fold mirror with flexible architecture preventing them from breaking.
Inside the cabin, the Figo Sedan will be well equipped with an innovative storage spaces and a multimedia system enabling the owners to store, mount and charge mobile phones, MP3 devices and satellite navigation systems. The vehicle is fitted with large doors with a huge glass area along with a shark fin radio antenna. The side profile of the car is also really awesome with boomerang shaped rear tail light design and 8 spoke alloy wheels. The Ford Figo has a length of about 3990 mm which looks really stylish.
The Ford Figo Sedan may be available in both petrol and diesel engines in which the petrol engine is powered by a 1.2 litre, DOHC, 1196cc engine generating the maximum power of 70 BHP in combination with the maximum torque of 102 NM. The petrol engine is expected to deliver the fuel efficiency of 16 kmpl on all road conditions. Similarly, the diesel engine is powered by a 1.5 litre, 1498cc DV5 turbo diesel, SOHC engine churning out the maximum power of 91 BHP and maximum torque of 205 NM. The diesel engine is expected to offer fuel efficiency of 25 kmpl on all road conditions. Both petrol and diesel engines are mated to the five speed gear box with manual transmission for smooth and convenient ride.
Moving to the braking and suspension mechanisms, the Ford Figo Sedan will be fitted with a disc brake at the front and drum brakes at the rear. This combination of disc and drum brakes helps to stop the vehicle immediately even travelling at high speed. The car gets a power steering which is quite good to handle easily. On the other hand, the car has an independent McPherson strut with dual path mounts front suspension where as the rear suspension is of semi-independent twist beam, coil springs.
