Tavera Neo 3 Engine

The Tavera Neo 3 has been fully incorporated with a powerful diesel engine with two options and we can choose from them. One of the engine comes with 2.0L, 4 cylinder, 8 valves, turbo diesel compression ignition (TDCI) and BS-IV displacing 1994 cc and it generates the maximum power of 105.30 BHP @ 4000 RPM and maximum torque of 263.70 NM @ 2500 RPM with 1944 cc displacement. Another engine comes with 2.5-litre, 4 cylinder, 16 valves, Bharat Stage – III compliant diesel mill which offers the displacement of 2499 cc. This engine churns out the maximum power of 78.90 BHP @ 3900 RPM and maximum torque of 186 NM @ 1800 RPM. Both the engines are fitted with a smooth five speed manual transmission gear box ensuring better acceleration and pick up. Acceleration, Mileage and Fuel Economy The company claims that the Tavera Neo 3 would offer good acceleration and pick up with the smart and powerful diesel engines. The BS-IV engine of the vehicle can be able to touch the barrier 0-100 kmph in the range of 20-22 seconds with the maximum speed between 140-150 kmph which is really good. It can generate a moderate mileage of 9 kmpl in urban roads and 12 kmpl on highway roads. On the other hand, the other engine with BS-III emission can cross 0-100 kmph in just 21-23 seconds with the maximum speed between 135-140 kmph which is quite outstanding. This engine delivers the mileage of 11 kmpl in the city roads and 15 kmpl on the highways.

Design and Comfort

Chevrolet has performed its best in the interior design of the car which would surely impress the people. The interiors are available with a stylish and elegant dual tone interior scheme with the combination of Dark Pewter and Light Cashmere shades. The interiors are blessed with some important features including full fabric floor carpet, tilt quarter window, dual glove boxes etc. It comes with a stylish instrument cluster with an icy blue coloured illumination, front and rear room lamp etc. The car has been designed with a manual three spoke power steering wheel along with an impressive Chevrolet logo which looks so bold and aggressive. The car is very roomy and spacious with comfortable seating arrangements and it is possible to accommodate seven to ten passengers without any trouble. The seating arrangements of the car is too good with the coverage of high quality soft cashmere fabric upholstery with ample leg room, shoulder room, head room etc. It offers lot of storage spaces for keeping small and large things with front seat back magazine pockets and rear luggage shelf etc. The MPV consists of a dual horn, a remote fuel lid opener, a dead pedal which adds more comfort to the driver. It has an advanced air conditioning system with HVAC for cooling the entire cabin even for second and third row passenger with AC vents. There is a low fuel warning indicator in order to keep the driver very updated and it has large lockable glove box for more security. Exteriors of Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3

Along with interiors, the exteriors of the MPV is also really excellent. The overall structure of the car is of aerodynamic with a sleek outline. The front fascia of the car looks very bold and classy with matte finished front radiator grille along with chrome treatment. The radiator grille is surrounded by a bright halogen head light cluster with side turn indicators for better visibility to the driver. Below the grille, there is a body coloured front bumper along with a large air dam which helps in cooling the engine quickly. The bumper has been incorporated with a couple of fog lamps with a chrome finish looking so classy. Braking and Handling

The braking and handling of the car is sound and dynamic with a well balanced and advanced suspension mechanism with proficient braking system. The front wheels of the car has been fitted with ventilated disc type braking system where as the rear wheels comes with solid drum brakes. Similarly, the front axle of the car has a double wishbone type mechanism with an independent torsion bar spring as well as anti roll bar. The rear axle of the car is well packed with a semi-elliptical leaf spring type which keeps the vehicle very balanced and steady. The vehicle comes with the gas filled shock abosorbers which offers a trouble free driving experience.
