Tata Magic Iris is a well affordable and powerful A segment MUV. This is the updated version of its popular MPV Magic. The vehicle available in two variants as 4 seaters and 5 seaters with good safety and comfort features. This will be an excellent option if you are looking for a vehicle to carry heavy loads with great safety and stability. From exterior it offers the look of tough and robust look with fully covered model and features glass windows. Other style factors are bright angular headlamp cluster, pop-up knob provision for side-step, vertical tail lamp cluster, 12-inch radial tires, black colored ORVMs etc.

Engine Specification

The Magic Iris Diesel powered by the 4 stroke, naturally aspirated, indirect injection, Water cooled diesel engine with 611cc engine displacement. The engine can churns out 11 Bhp @ 3000 rpm power and 31 Nm @ 1600 rpm torque on ride. It is mated with TA59 (Transaxle) with Synchromesh (4 forward gears), Constant mesh (reverse gear) gearbox and Single plate, Dry friction diaphragm type (160 mm diameter) clutch. The offered mileage of Magic Iris Diesel is kmpl. The vehicle can attain top speed of 55kmph.

Braking and Handling

For safety and comfort during ride it is equipped with hydraulically activated drum brakes at front and rear. The suspension used in this MUV is Independent MacPherson strut at front and Coil spring with semi trailing arm suspension at the rear for a stable ride. The steering is a Wheel steering, Mechanical rack and pinion type with 350 mm diameter. Other features are 145/80 R12 X 6 PR Radial tyres, 10 Litres fuel tank, 1650mm wheelbase etc. The seating capacity is 3+D, 4+D, 2+1+D based on variants. Seats are comfortable and Bucket seats – driver and co-passenger Bench seats – passenger type.
