Dimensions

The mini truck has a pretty generous load area which has a 1930mm length and 1400mm width. It measures 3581mm in length, 1485mm in width and 1750mm in height and a wheelbase of 2500mm.

Design and Style

Mahindra Jeeto features a totally new design from the current line of pick-up trucks available in the market. The design gets an enhanced look by the silver stripe differentiating the bumper from the front body of the Jeeto. The bumper comes with a car like approach, with its optional fog light cuts and large air intake. The upper body shares the iconic Mahindra styling that contains a black plastic stripe with the non-chrome XUV like cheetah cuts and a Xylo like headlights with turn indicators. None of the component is exactly the same but clearly shows the mild interference of the styling details. The open deck design has been perfectly made and availability of different sizes makes it a much better option according to the work type of the customer.

The interior of Jeeto never makes you feel that you are at work. The car like comfortable and good looking interior comes with 2 seats, wide and comfortable enough for 2 adults. The gear shifts have been made easy with the dashboard integrated lever in the new Jeeto. It not just increases the space in the seats but also makes it easy for the driver to change gears. The interior has been made clear and comfortable with seat belts for both the seats. The dashboard has been beautifully designed and it would not even let you feel as you are at work. The dashboard integrates a 12v power socket and a beautiful analogue and digital instrument console. It also comes with a glove box.

Engine Specification

The Jeeto comes with 1-cylinder water cooled, 625 cc engine producing 38 NM of torque. Two power outputs are available, which are 11 HP and 16 HP. The customer can choose between the both engines according to his needs and the choosing power does not just end here. Mahindra Jeeto X7 16 is powered by 16hp (11.94 kw) @ 3600 rpm. Customer has the option to choose between three different deck lengths and 2 different payloads. The Jeeto comes with a 4-speed manual gearbox and returns a company claimed value of 37.6 kmpl.

Braking and Handling

To ensure in-time braking while loaded full to its capacity, Mahindra Jeeto has been fitted with Disc front brakes and Drum rear brakes with seat belts as well. The company has also worked on further safety designing Jeeto Semi-Forward and offering features like bigger windshield, strong body & chassis, and longer wheelbase for better stability and navigation. With Manual Rack and Pinion type steering, Mahindra Jeeto doesn’t give very comfortable experience while maneuvering, but is decent enough to not to get driver all fatigued and tired. However, power steering option could have been added up to more comfort. Also, its Mc Pherson Strut front suspension and Semi-trailing arm rear suspension provide bump free drives on rugged city out-skirts.

Thus Mahindra Jeeto is a new model which offers a variety of comfort zones to the customers. It is available in 8 variants. One among them is Jeeto S6 16. It has a good engine specification and braking and handling system.
