The world's largest car maker, Toyota, considering the potential C segment in India, that houses many great mid-sized sedans such as new Honda City, Hyundai Verna etc,has planned to launch the Vios,that sits below the the Corolla. It is to be run by a 1.5 litre 4-cylinder petrol engine churning out 107bhp of power and a 1.4 litre diesel engine.These two power train get mated to a 5-speed transmission gearbox.The design traits are highly inspired from all new Corolla and new Camry,thus promises to be much more visually exciting than Toyota's current compact sedan,the Etios with its much sharper and more aggressive profile. Vios sports out chrome layered grille and bumper that comes with a bigger air dam for a sportier look.Here the LED daytime-running lights are placed below the fog lights.The interior part too gives a sportier and futuristic appeal with the chrome inserts,a touchscreen and dials coupled with a black and beige color theme.We could also expect it to be one of the most spacious car in its class.Expecting with the starting price of Rs7.5 lakhs, Toyota Vios is to be positioned as the Honda City's Indian rival.
