Renault launches its much-awaited Lodgy MPV in India at a starting price of Rs.8.19 lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The Lodgy is 4.5-metres long, 1.8-metres wide, 1.7-metres high, and rides on a wheelbase that is 2.8-metres long. The same 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine which powers the Duster only powers the Lodgy too. The engine is available in two states of tune — 84bhp mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and 108.5bhp mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Holding many attractive features like cavernous cabin, touchscreen infotainment system, satellite navigation, rear view camera, parking sensors and dedicated AC vents for the second and third row, the Lodgy fights on the likes of Honda Mobilio, Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova. Lodgy is available in the price tag of Rs.8.19 lakhs to 11.79 lakhs.
