Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) plans to unveil its Ssangyong Korando in India by 2011 end. The word 'Korando' is derived from the word 'Korea Can Do'. Korando, a 5-seater vehicle will be powered by a 2.0-liter CRDI engine coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission and offers a generous 480 liter luggage space. Mahindra korando comes up with two-wheel and four-wheel drive variants giving a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. For better safety, Korando offers ABS, EBD and 6 standard airbags. Korando will give tough competion to other cars such as Ford Endeavour, Mitsubishi Pajero, Outlander, Nissan X-Trail, Honda CR-V etc.
