Kia, Hyundai’s sister brand plans to enter the Indian market by 2019. Venga is one of the upcoming models of Kia which is a hatchback. Venga will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. Powering the petrol-powered Venga will be a 1.4-litre MPi petrol engine developing 90PS of peak power and 140Nm of peak torque and a 1.6-litre MPi petrol engine developing 125PS of peak power and 159Nm of peak torque. Venga diesel comes equipped with a 1.4-litre engine developing 77PS of peak power and 245Nm of peak torque and a 1.6-litre engine churning out 128PS and 265Nm of peak power and torque outputs respectively. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed Manual and 6-speed Manual and Automatic gearboxes. Venga will be getting a lot of exciting features and is expected to be priced affordably. After its launch, Kia Venga will take on the likes of Hyundai Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo, Ford Figo and Maruti Baleno.
