About बजाज यू-कार

Bajaj has revealed its new four wheeler concept car known as U-Car at the Auto Expo Event 2014 which resembles RE60. It is totally based on a new platform and is designed in-house and built from high quality plastic sheet metal which is quite good. The new concept car will deliver a low emission similar to the 60 g/km on the RE60 and the total weight of the vehicle will be approximately 300 kg. It will be powered by a liquid cooled, 4 valve, triple spark, fuel injected engine mated to an automatic gearbox for better performance. The vehicle has been designed targeting the urban people and it is expected to be the best solution for last mile personal transportation. One of the additional feature is vertically opening doors allowing easy manoeuvrability in and out of the car. The new Bajaj U-Car concept will be available with an affordable cost of Rs.2,50,000.

The ground clearance (lowest part of the car to the ground) will give you the measure of water wading capability and confidence of यू-कार's capability to run over potholes and speed breakers. However GC (ground clearance) won't tell everything. Other important factors like approach angle, breakover angle and departure angle is required to assess the cars' ability to run in rained indian roads and light off road tracks.Engine specs of यू-कार are also listed here. With the power (in bhp) and torque (Nm) figures the most important ratios - power to weight ratio of यू-कार and torque to weight ratio. The displacement (in cc) is the measure of cubic capacity of the engine. Earlier there was a notion, larger engines produce more power and torque however with the invention of advanced technologies this is no longer true."
