The Hero manufacturer has unveiled its new concept bike christened as SimplECity which is expected to be priced around Rs.35,000. The new bike has been mainly designed for personal use in urban areas to ease traffic congestion. The SimplECity will be powered by a 4kW motor which can be able to accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 9.8 seconds. It will be offered with removable batteries and it will come with a special walk mode. The Hero SimplECity looks like a bicycle which would be a boon for the urban city riders especially for going short distances. The SimplECity will have an excellent external dimensions in which the length and width of the bike is 1981 mm and 711 mm while the height of the bike is 930 mm respectively.The vehicle will be provided with hydraulic brakes at the front and an electric regenerative brakes at the rear for better braking system. On the other hand, the front suspension of the bike will be fitted with a telescopic hydraulic forks and rear suspension will have a swing arm an adjustable hydraulic shock absorber.
