Impulse,the sturdy on-off road motorcycle of Hero MotoCorp launched in India at a cost of Rs.71,400. The Impulse looks tough and it is a tall bike with a long travel telescopic front suspension.The standard equipment of the bike is a high set,arrow shaped,floating front mudguard. Hero Impulse is powered by a 149.2cc, alloy-cased, single cylinder, air-cooled engine with a bright red spark-plug. The engine delivers a power of 9.7kW (13.2 Ps) @ 7500RPM and a torque of 13.4NM @ 5000RPM. There is also a five-speed gearbox available in order to enhance the power of the bike. It also holds knuckle guards. The Impulse shows off an LED brake warning light. It features a robust, tubular steel frame.The wheelbase of the bike measures 1360mm and its front disc brake measures 240mm. The other available features of Impulse are a small lockable utility box, slim looking riding seat, a long silencer unit, metal rear brake pedal and so on. Impulse has a plucky move and have the potential to perform a repeat performance for Hero MotoCorp. No Doubt, the Impulse is popular with the short riders and it is the right motorcycle to tackle the Indian road conditions.
