The Volvo manufacturer has launched its new vehicle named as V40 Cross Country with an approximate price tag of Rs.31.90 lac. The new V40 Cross country D3 gets a 1984 cc, 2.0L D4 turbo diesel which can produce the maximum power output of 150bhp @ 3500rpm and maximum torque output of 350Nm @ 1500rpm mated to the six speed gear box. The car could be able to reach from 0-100 kmph in just 9.3 seconds with the maximum speed of 205 kmph. The Volvo V40 comes with a length of 4370 mm, width of 1783 mm and height of 1473 mm. The braking and suspensions of the vehicle is really good in which both the front and rear brakes is fitted with disc type for immediate halting of the vehicle. Likewise, the front suspension gets a McPherson Struts and Multi Link at the rear suspension. Some of the safety features includes ABS, EBD, Traction Control, ESP, Park Assist System, Blind Spot Monitoring, airbags etc.
