Piaggio has recently showcased the NT3 prototype at the Auto Expo which is termed as a light four wheeler powered either by a 230cc or 350cc petrol engine. The company has also developed the hybrid powertrain for the four wheeler with a displacement close to 350cc. It will satisfy not only the needs of urban and metropolitan environments but also focused on eco-sustainability. The length and width of the car will be 2400mm and 1500mm while the height will be 1600mm. The vehicle is expected to be offered the maximum speed of 80 kmph along with fuel efficiency of 33 kmpl and exhaust figure of 70 g CO2/km. The Piaggio NT3 will be provided with four wheels and three seats with the driver situated in a forward central seat which is very different from other cars. It may be a tough competitor to its similar other cars such as Tata Nano and Maruti cars. The price of Piaggio NT3 is expected to be priced nearly Rs.1,75,000.
