The automatic version of Sunny is to be launched by Nissan in February 2013. The automatic option will be available only in the petrol variant of Sunny which will feature a basic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) gearbox. Sunny is available in three variants with both petrol and diesel engine options. The engine options include a 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel motors. Sunny looks quite large in the rear view with a large boot, long wheelbase and a large cabin.The fit and finish and the overall plastic quality of its interiors are also so good. The sedan features a lot of goodies which include electronically adjustable outside rear-view mirrors, chrome-plated outside door handles and radiator grille, rear defroster, an integrated audio system with four speakers and AUX, steering-mounted audio controls, rear A/C vents, front passenger airbag, anti-theft alarm, speed-sensing automatic door locks, alloy wheels, electronically folding rear-view mirrors and so on. It is expected that the Sunny Automatic will be Rs.80,000 higher than the manual variant.
