Mitsubishi in India is known for the SUVs such as Pajero and Montero. But MPV? Grandis will be the answer from Mitsubishi. Yes, the Japanese car maker is planning to launch the Grandis some time later in India. This MPV will take on Innova, Aria and Xylo. Grandis may be made available in 2.4 L petrol and 2.0 L diesel engine powered variants. Grandis is known for its good interior space, car like driving characteristics and fuel efficiency. It has received the 'Best MPV' award at the Bangkok International Motor Show from 2005 to 2010. If Mitsubishi could price the Grandis competitively, looks like a winner in hands. Expect Gradis in late 2011.
