Mahindra's next big launch will be the compact crossover known to be XUV100 which is codenamed as S101 targeted at the compact hatchback customers. It is expected to get a cab forward design in which the A-Pillar starts after the front wheel arch showing more interior room. This car will be fitted with a pillar mounted door handle for the rear doors and it seems to be handles on the Chevrolet Beat. When it is talking about the cabin, it features a single binnacle instrument cluster with two rectangular AC vents which sit on top of the center console. Along with that, the vehicle will have multiple buttons like multimedia controls, space for a small screen etc. Mahindra XUV100 will be powered by an all new set of 1.2 litre petrol and diesel engine ensuring high power and torque delivery mated to an AMT transmission. Packed with high class features, the new car is expected to be priced around Rs.4 lakh which will be the right choice for the compact hatchback category customers.
