Mahindra has launched its new compact SUV known as TUV300 at an attractive price of Rs.6.90 lakh. The new vehicle comes with a new 1.5 diesel motor along with AMT gearbox. It would be available in three different variants namely T4, T6 and the top spec T8. The new car gets Mahindra updated mHawk engine called mHawk80 which would be offered in a diesel guise with the displacement of 1493cc. The new engine of the car delivers the maximum power output of 82.85bhp and maximum torque output of 23.45kgm mated to the five speed manual transmission or an AMT gearbox with the fuel efficiency of 18.49kmpl which is quite outstanding. Mahindra TUV300 is provided with safety features such as Antilock Braking System and dual front airbags even for the lower variants. So, the TUV300 is a direct tough competitor car to Ford Ecosport.
