Mahindra launches its first electric car e20 which is priced at Rs 5.96 lakh in India on March 2013.It has two variants which are known as T0 and T2 variant.It can generate maximum power of 25 Bhp at 3750 Rpm and maximum torque of 53 Nm at 2400 Rpm.It gives six colour options like Arctic Silver,Coral Blue,Eco Green,Oceanic White ,Spanish Red ,Sunfire Yellow.It provides more features like keyless entry,start/stop button,power windows Driver Information System,LED tail lamps,Easy home charging,Phone Independent Message Centre,Smartphone application,Electric ORVM(Outside Rear View Mirror),One touch foldable seats for rear seat access and an Intelligent iEMS System.These features are available in both T0 and T2 variant

The ground clearance (lowest part of the car to the ground) will give you the measure of water wading capability and confidence of e2o's capability to run over potholes and speed breakers. However GC (ground clearance) won't tell everything. Other important factors like approach angle, breakover angle and departure angle is required to assess the cars' ability to run in rained indian roads and light off road tracks.Engine specs of e2o are also listed here. With the power (in bhp) and torque (Nm) figures the most important ratios - power to weight ratio of e2o and torque to weight ratio. The displacement (in cc) is the measure of cubic capacity of the engine.
