Mahindra has planned to introduce its new Quanto facelift which is expected to be named as Canto U125. This new vehicle will come with a 1.5 litre three cylinder diesel engine delivering the maximum power output of 100bhp at 3750rpm and maximum torque output of 240Nm at 1600-2800rpm mated to a five speed manual transmission along with the optional AMT. The exterior of the new vehicle will be incorporated with a restyled headlamps, fresh grille, a revised bonnet as well as chrome garnish on the tailgate. Additionally the interiors may have a multifunction steering wheel for controlling audio system which will be quite good. Mahindra Canto would be a seven seater vehicle with two jump seats in the luggage bay that may provide more comfort. Other details of the new Mahindra Canto are not yet revealed and will be shared very soon.
