The 2017 Kia Niro breaks new ground as the initially devoted hybrid crossover SUV - which is to state, there's no gas just Niro. The forthcoming 2017 Kia Niro is the automaker's first-since forever committed hybrid electric vehicle. The 2017 Niro will be generated by a 1.6L direct-injected 'Kappa' gasoline engine which outputs 103 horsepower and 108 pound-feet of torque. Joined to the engine is a 6-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission -DCT. Also incorporated in the 'mix' is the 32-kilowatt electric motor and a 1.56 kilowatt-hour lithium-polymer battery pack. It is expected that Kia Niro might be launched at the middle of next year.
